From October 16-17, NRL’s Workshop on Molecular Diagnostics 2017 was held at the Wrest Point Hotel in Hobart, Australia.
NRL was fortunate to have guest speakers Dr Verlaine Timms (Westmead Hospital) present on genomic surveillance of bacterial respiratory pathogens and Dr Angela Caliendo (Brown University) discuss the use of viral load tests in managing transplant infections.
The molecular program entailed sessions around Respiratory Pathogens, Transplantation, STI and Hepatitis Diagnosis; and Advancements in Pathology with many diverse presentations delivered and numerous organisations well represented.
NRL was very grateful to all sponsors, speakers and delegates who attended this meeting and welcomed the variety of insights and perspectives shared throughout.
We look forward to seeing everyone in 2018 in Melbourne!
